THE PERFECT CURING CLIMATE AND ECONOMY IN A SINGLE ATMOSPHERE CHAMBER

NAUTILUS™ optimizes the cement hydration process – it utilizes the heat of hydration and the moisture from the fresh concrete. It combines the advantages of air circulation and heat recovery technology. This guarantees a continually uniform environment for curing.

  • Function 1

    Nautlius™

    The rack is enclosed with insulated sandwich panels in order to reduce heat loss. Drawings and Bills of Materials supplied by KRAFT allow our clients a foolproof do-it-yourself solution for chamber insulation.

  • Function 2

    Nautlius™

    The Nautilus™ system prevents fog and condensation on chamber surfaces even at 35 °C (100 °F) and 90 % relative humidity. This prevents disruption of safety beams or control lasers and corrosion of the steelwork.

  • Function 3

    Nautlius™

    Our Nautilus™ radial ventilator is customer designed and manufactured for the concrete industry. Our stainless steel and aluminum construction and self-lubricating stainless steel bearing housing provide a durable solution in a harsh atmosphere.

  • Function 4

    Nautlius™

    Our custom designed air distribution duct system with 100s of air supply outlets and air return inlets guarantees a consistent curing climate throughout the curing chamber while ensuring low air velocity.

  • Function 5

    Nautlius™

    There are a wide variety of curing control alternatives available with our AutoCure Automatic Curing Control System which allows for temperature and humidity sensing, indication, controlling and, if required, recording. Curing temperature and relative humidity are measured via sensors distributed throughout the chamber.

  • Function 6

    Nautlius™

    Our custom designed exhaust system with electrically actuated damper (in order to prevent heat loss when not in operation) operates in order to reduce humidity.

    Curing temperature and relative humidity are measured via sensors distributed throughout the chamber (not depicted).

Van Dyk Stene invests in fully automated concrete products plant with integrated curing system

The newly commissioned Van Dyk Stene concrete products plant in Vredenburg in the Western Cape is saving the company 30% on its total cement input costs. The state-of-the-art plant is a showcase for the total concrete solutions available from Pan Mixers South Africa (PMSA), Johannesburg, South Africa and their curing technology partner, KRAFT CURING SYSTEMS, Lindern, Germany.
